Hemp and marijuana products are both derived from the cannabis plant, but contain significantly differing levels of THC. Hemp-derived products are legally required to contain less than 0.3% THC. So, you are better off with a hemp-derived CBD product than a cannabis-derived CBD product if you are seeking a THC free test result.
You will often see CBD products labeled as either Full-Spectrum, Broad-Spectrum or CBD Isolate.
Full-Spectrum Products: Include CBD (cannabidiol), terpenes, flavonoids, and other cannabinoids such as THC. Also, typically extracted from the marijuana plant.
Broad-Spectrum Products: Contains additional compounds found in cannabis, including terpenes and other cannabinoids. It is less likely to have THC than full-spectrum CBD.
CBD Isolate: CBD isolate is pure cannabidiol. It typically comes from hemp and does not contain additional compounds from the plant. This is your best choice if you are concerned about THC showing up in a drug test. Such as our CBD Isolate Powder.
Drug tests screen for THC or one of its main metabolites, THC-COOH. Commonly used in the workplace for testing cannabis in urine. In urine, THC-COOH must be present at a concentration of 50 nanograms per milliliter

If using a hemp/CBD product with an established level of 0.3 % of THC, the possibility of testing positive is highly unlikely.
